Bio
Dan has been involved in energy efficiency in buildings since 1977 starting with graduate work in computer simulation building thermal performance. Dan has worked as a building science researcher, building energy consultant, design mechanical engineer for buildings, and sustainability consultant.
Dan is a graduate of Princeton University and Cornell University and is both a Registered Architect and Professional Engineer, an ASHRAE Life Fellow, a Fellow of the AIA, a LEED Fellow. He has held senior VP positions with the likes of Syska and Hennessy and WSP Flack + Kurtz
Some of the notable projects Dan’s resume include the BASF U.S. Headquarters, the Newseum in Washington, DC, the Hearst Corporate Headquarters, the U.S. Embassies in Sofia, Bulgaria and Cape Town, South Africa, the Clinton Presidential Library, the New York Times Headquarters and the Alcoa Corporate Headquarters.
