Barnabas is Senior Lecturer in Architecture at University of Liverpool UK. He has a Bachelors Degree in History from University of Oxford, a Masters Degree in History of Medieval Architecture from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London and a PhD in History of Architecture from University of Cambridge.
Barnabas is also the author of Architecture: From Prehistory to Climate Emergency (Pelican, 2021). Architectural Historian of architecture and energy, specialising in Brutalism, Modernism, and the history of energy in architecture. Loves communicating research through public talks and tours, media appearances and teaching.
