Basic Phone?

I am considering ditching my iPhone and going to a basic call only phone to improve my productivity.  I heard an interesting take on this today. 

“Having no mobile phone is a status symbol. People with phones work for people who do not need to carry phones” 

Anyone out there ditching their smart phones?
