The main take away? Building commissioning begins during DESIGN PHASE!
What are the benefits to commencing commissioning early?
1. Flatten the issues curve
2. Reduce risks to completion
3. Save reputations
4. Save money
5. Deliver truth
Benefit number 5 is the real problem, truth can be inconvenient.
Who is to blame for building commissioning starting late? Developers/owners and their project management representatives. All IMHO.
